I would agree that its hilarious if it weren't so true.
Obama is an empty box full of highly predictable surprises. The Democratic Party is a stand in for a Pandora who wants to open the box. McCain is a pathologically abusive spouse of an equally pathologically co-dependent Republican Party. McCain can out Democrat the Democrats and will be forgiven every time. We are in for a rough ride no matter which way we go.
Good old fashion corruption and graft is preferable to either. At least you can pay for it to go away. The current situation is a "gift" that keeps on taking and never has enough no matter which side of the isle is in charge. A. Rational Human | Email | Homepage | 02.14.08 - 1:50 pm | #

Even if there were chocolates in that heart-shaped Obama box, they would certainly only be sweet and non-nutritious. onlineanalyst | Email | Homepage | 02.14.08 - 3:44 pm | #

Fwiw, take a whiff:
What's in Obama's box is not simply empty, it's smelling increasingly fetid. Even as we speak, he's sponsering the “Global Poverty Act” (S.2433), which would obligate the U.S. to give .7% of its ~ $12-13 trillion GDP to the U.N./year.
So if you sit this one out in your own hermetic lock-box by not voting against B.O., when you just might have a good chance to snuff the most pure 'scent of a no-one' in November, perhaps you will find out too late that your lock-box is not really Holy but instead quite holey - enabling you to be provided with B.O.'s own specially-abled brand of Communist aroma therapy for the duration.
I'm going to make sure I'm able to at least stand my own smell, given that it's not already one of doom, I tell you, doom!

MSM has worked the people into an apocalyptic mindset for 8 years. Now Obama knows how to calmly sooth the fears.
Sounds like a game of good cop bad cop working against a bunch of suckers to me. SteveH | Email | Homepage | 02.14.08 - 4:43 pm | #

Maybe McCain's abusive spouse tenancy will serve up some good. Check out his starting the cooking of Democratic pork: ( http://youdecide08.foxnews.com/2...-pork-projects/
}
There is a lot of pork to cook on both sides so its going to take a lot of heat to cook it well done. If he can keep up the heat, I might soften my position against him. A. Rational Human | Email | Homepage | 02.14.08 - 8:45 pm | #

McCain has also been good on property rights, which was important to conservatives until they got a candidate who doesn't say nice things about them. Assistant Village Idiot | Email | Homepage | 02.14.08 - 8:52 pm | #

McCain is a patriot. I can't say that about many on the left. He may sell out to other Americans, but never to our enemies as the Dhimmis have done.
I'd rather be co-dependent with him than the Islamists. debass | Email | Homepage | 02.14.08 - 9:47 pm | #

Also, I forgot, the first cartoon shows that half the population is too stupid to vote.

Yes, it is pathologically abusive to want to stone women. On the other hand, here in America, the three top candidates support an evil worse than mere stoning.
Hillary is an activist in supporting the snuffing out innocent preborns,
Obama has voted to allow the murder of any innocent child fortunate enough to have just escaped the abotionists intentions.
John Mccain has no problem with snuffing out innocent human life for medical experimentation.
And we have become so used to it -just like the Islamic community is to stoning of women- that it is now acceptable. That it is acceptable makes it no less evil.
There's something here about taking the beam out of our eye before we complain about the splinter is someone else's. Don L | Email | Homepage | 02.17.08 - 5:04 am | #
