Boy, those two programs were two of my all-time favorites shows! Just thinking about them and some of the many skits, one-liners from Laugh-in, Tim Conway consistently cracking Harvey Korman up, Dick Martin, often being the one riding the tricycle that would always fall over and dump him -so many things all bits that came together and gave us some of the best that television has had to offer!
Hedley Lamar -has to be one of my all-time favorite characters in some of the zaniest movies I've ever seen.
Both of these men were truly comedic geniuses! Well, that's my opinion anyway.

I agree with Jeni. Those skits with Tim Coway were classic. When they started cracking each other up during the skit, it made it that much funnier. Today's comics and writers could learn a lot from going old school. That shit is still funny today.

I was too young to remember it, but my sister tells me that our very quiet, nerdy, shy and reserved Dad used to bust a gut laughing during "Laugh In". I wish I could recall this, but I don't remember any TV from my early childhood. Maybe it was past my bedtime... But those guys did people like him a real service. Everybody needs a good belly laugh on a regular basis.
When I was in college, he and my stepmom used to watch the early evening reruns of The Carol Burnett Show and definitely enjoyed themselves.

I'm too young to remember Laugh In, really, but I loved loved loved The Carol Burnette Show and rarely missed it. Like Jeni & pm, the best part was when Tim Conway would crack Harvey Korman up. We would just wait for it and then laugh even harder. Some cable station needs to run those reruns.
