I'm using odbckit 0.2.6 under leopard with an odbc driver to informix database, all the values as number or date return nil on truncated value.
this causes entire nil column for datatype different from varchar.

I think I've isolated the issue. Had to find an informix database to test with and believe I know the issue. I've got someone else reviewing the fix, and hopefully will have a new release in the next week or so.
