Bush is a coward on this issue. He should have already pardoned the two border patrol agents wrongfully sitting in jail.

I'd go even further... He is philosophically opposed to a tough policy on illegal immigration.
He has gotten into a vicious habit of sacrificing individuals for larger goals.
Dumping aggressive border police overboard is, for him, the price of moving in the "right direction" of free flow of people and goods across North America.
He and his advisors are WRONG on history, wrong on culture, wrong on human psychology, and wrong even on economics on the immigration issue... they have sold out ot the Idol of Free Trade!
