Wow..talk about unique timing. I am not sure your Marines would necessarily want those particular pictures of yours. Thank you for the comments, they are most appreciated.

So you're feeling the years? Then you need your sleep! In crisis situations you do the very best you can. That is all anyone can expect. Not all outcomes are in your hands alone. From all you've written, there is no doubt you give 110%, plus have the experience and wisdom from previous tours which makes you a most valuable asset to your men. They are fortunate to have you beside them. Take good care of yourself.

Don't second guess yourself after the fact. That would make you an arm chair quarter back. The things you do at a moments notice is the right ones at the right time. Second-guessing yourself makes you doubt yourself. Time and experiences have made you a 'Damn fine Marine Doc' so stop it right now.

The big 'A' rush can make one do things that would make Samson dream about. So grab the ben gay and 2 asprins and call a 'Doc' in the morning. Mean while try to get some bed rest.
I can hear you all the way from Iraq--'What that Lady is nuts!' Well that's what my doctor keeps telling me so I'm passing on his wisdom to you. {LOL LOL--snicker, snicker}

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

What a valuable piece of information for the docs to have...cause of injury. In the hospital, I would've gladly given my right chesticle many times for any clue as to what transpired prior to the patient's landing in my care. You can do so much more for someone when you know what you're dealing with.

I admire all that you do. You balance your hats nicely on your head, my friend. We never take that for granted around here.

Doc S, your a busy man. I see you are doing cruisebooks now. Remember Flip and I did it for VMFA(AW)-242. If you need any graphic design work let me know, I'll do it for FREE.

LUV YOUR BLOG!
