So sorry you're feeling extra-homesick, Sean.

And I suppose I must follow it up with sorryness for not staying in touch. But I've been thinking of you and reading your posts, glad to hear that so far things are going as well as it can when you're over there. Your last post as great--it made me glad that the Marines there have a Doc like you aboard. *hugs*

Good to hear about the laid back BBQ!
Sorry about the 'ack, near beer'! All of you serving overseas are never far from our thoughts. Safe travels, and I'll join FbL in sending a big ((HUG)).

It could just be the hair-cut.

I posted pics of our Easter weekend if you want to see what Okies do for fun. We also stop and pray for our soldiers who are away.

Non-alcoholic beer? Was that all you had or is alcohol not allowed?

Glad you had a taste of home for Easter. Play nice in the sandbox!

Thought about you on Sunday and even Little Dude wondered what you might be doing. BBQ is a good way to feel at home. Wish I could say we've saved you candy or something, but LD had very little candy this year and I'm afraid it'll be gone before the end of the week. Besides, stale peeps aren't so great.

When you get home, we will make up for the non-alcoholic beer. And you can have a home-cooked meal from us, too.

The Thunder Run has linked to this post in the blog post From the Front: 03/25/2008 News and Personal dispatches from the front lines.

Does it make you feel any better to know that I was thinking about you, Pain, Tori, Ryan, Bill, Hook, and a couple of others I know over there right now?

I hope you enjoyed your bbq- it sounds like fun! And it also sounds like you've been promised a full Easter dinner upon return- with real beer- good times ahead, Sean!
