I just heard this.Obama voted for it and McCain didn't that pisses me off. How can you with a clear conscience say you will always be there for the soldiers and brag about your service and not back that. I don't get it.
I just heard Obama talking about it and the scum McCain said I will not have anyone that did not serve their country tell me what to do with the military and that was it.
Obama should have lit right into that. You don't have to be a Woman to know how to treat one. Obama better start jumping on this idiot. He can not afford to let him get away with these short smart ass quips!

On another but related bill - neither McCain nor Obama were present for the recent vote on increased war spending for Iraq. That was dissapointing.
