Palin won't last the month. She will go the way of Harriet Miers. She is the political equivalent of a temper tantrum thrown by a two year old. McCain is holding his breath until he can get BFF Joe Lieberman on the ticket. Come to think of it, if he holds his breath long enough, we will be free of this pitiful excuse of a candidacy, and finally get ourselves a real winner.
It is part of a pattern. Think of the distilled leftwing hatred directed to any Black or Hispanic who stands in the public light expressing conservative views. Women, regardless of race or ethnicity receive the same treatment from the left. Think of the horrible racist attacks on Condi Rice. In the leftwing reality, only old white men can be conservatives. Anyone who causes them cognitive dissonance must be destroyed by any means necessary.
I'm not aware of any racist attacks on Condi by the liberal mainstream. Assuming the extremes represent the rest of us isn't correct.
