Personally I can't fault a man that sees his weaknesses and then brings on someone who can help compensate for them.
I would tend to agree with that logic, but I'm not convinced that Obama really thinks he has a weakness on foreign policy. He just knows the public thinks he does. I don't realy envision him listening to Biden on much.
McCain's pick should balance Obama ideally i.e. someone young and fresh and outside Washington. Palin or Powell are my top two on my wish list. If we get Romney I'm going to have serious doubts about McCain.
I don't see McCain picking Palin. She has no previous experience in public office and HP lost money while she was at the helm. Powell would be an excellent choice but somehow I think he's through with holding political offices.
I feel the same way about McCain picking Romney as you.
