While I'm generally happy with the translation, I will never get used to "And with your spirit." If nothing else it comes too close to a gnostic view of the person for my taste. The human person is "a being at once corporeal and spiritual" (CCC 362ff); I fear that this translation, while more accurate according to the Latin, may cause confusion on this matter.
Regardless, I'll adjust. But I'd love to know if there has been any other commentary on this issue (and to hear your opinion, Fr. Daren).
I stayed up very late (too late) going over it. I'm excited.
(And as far as "And with your spirit" goes, it's taking me way back to high school at the Episcopal Church. I love it.)

But I wonder if I'll still be alive!
Don't count on it, Thom. After all, we're still awaiting the translation of the second edition (?) of the Rite of Marriage from, I believe, 1983. And don't forget the Rite of Penance, which, at present, can't even be bought in English because of the new edition.
