Congratulations, Father. You will be a true blessing to the folks in Macoupin County. Thank you for pouring yourself out at St. A's, anyone who knows you can readily see that! May Mary, Our Mother, be your constant guide through this transition.
I thought perhaps this was your burden, and though it will be sad that Effingham will no longer be the recipient of your ministry, it was a great blessing that they have been able to glean what they have from your time there.

I will pray for your current parishioners and the students as they wish you well. I know this must be hard for them as it is hard for me to let go of such holy priests who must move on to their next assignment. Oh how I love Jesus because of these priests!

We've all really loved having you here, especially at the high school. You taught us lessons when we didn't even know it, and you've given us advice over the past 4 years that we'll always cherish. Thanks for everything you've done for us!
