I shocked the cute little hat off the sailor on the gangplank of the USS Constitution when I showed up in uniform (in Boston for a conference) asked for permission to board, and knew to salute the ensign.

Got the *complete* tour for that.

And ya gotta admit - from the right angles... the Sea Shadow *does* bear a resemblance to the Virginia...
