Visual evidence of these tests is indeed hard to come by, and I've been looking. I've collected what I've found on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kathryncramer/tags/

Thanks Kathryn- though I think the photos anfd videos are of their new "high speed underwater missile" and not the missile which may be the Kosar.
However, I have linked your information on my new post on the torpedo...

The video of the first missile test is out: http://www.iranfocus.com/modules/news/article.php?

Don't know if it is all that informative, though. Evaluating missile systems is not my area of expertise.

They really need to hire a PR firm. If the US is supposed to be impressed by their underwater missile system, why are they calling it "Hoot," (as in that's a hoot)? I was going to suggest Saatchi & Saatchi that Kenya has hired to deal with their corrupution problem (heh!), but Iran is on the wrong side of a trade embargo for Madison Avenue.

Looks like a conventional balistic missile to me, sort of Scud-like, in fact. I just don't believe that a ballistic missile can be aimed at specific moving targets as the initial report stated.
Thanks, though!
