The Kaiser yard in Vancouver, WA, where many of these ships were buiilt is now a park, though the slipways still exist. There is a small exhibit there commemorating the CVEs and those who built them.

Also with the coming demise of the Essex class ASW conversions in the late 1960s there was a proposal to bring the CVEs back.
The 1969 LRO Group(Long Range Objectives) "study envisaged" 15 escort carriers "initially converted Commncement Bays" and 14 30kt 12000-1400 ton DHKs.
