...Bwahahahahahahahahaha oh god, that is the funniest thing i have ever seen. a remote?! a remote?!! Oh god, this totally makes up for all the homework I have |
I wouldn’t be so quick to judge, as Nintendo was the first to create the D-pad, analog thumbstick, and wireless RF signal controller; all which have became the standard. |
Wow, that looks kinda stupid. I am so going to buy a X-Box 360!!! Woo hoo!!! X-Box Fanboys UNITE!!!! |
eliminate the rev. from the next gen. console wars. It is now a console duel. |
I dont understand the console wars... you can buy all of them if you want. Why just pick one?! I guarantee whatever this new controller is will become the standard. Everyone always rips off Nintendo. |
I dont think the Nitendo console does so well. The controller style I do not think will go very far. Most gamers are lazy and like they are going to do any moving around with that little thing. Also that controller is small, it is made for Asians and my hands will probably be way to big for it. |
I have never really liked video games. The only game console I ever had was an Atari rip off (and I guess a gameboy counts). |
Guys, Nintendo makes great products, do you really think they would make something if they thought it was gonna blow? |
Some guy, being, of course, Two Time Stu. |
Hey someguy! |
I can see the analog and D-pad being misunderstood, but a remote would make my arm tired before i got through the title screen. |
Conducting Vivaldi's Spring (1st mov.) FTW. |
I think some of you are underestimating this new new controller. First of all it's light weight, so you arm wouldn't hurt after playing it for awhile. Second you don't have to point the controller straight forward directly, if you seen the video then you know what I am talking about, it's basically free hand in 3D space, plus you can use left or right hand. |
What is up, Agent Brown! |
thats even worse |
Well, I've got a gamecube... and... um, I don't think I'll be buying a Revolution, because... THE CONTROLLER F'IN SUCKS!!! Honestly, the Nintendo systems began to go downhill after the damn touchscreen... now this? Nintendo's doomed. Go PS3 and X-Box 360!!! |
finally someone agrees with me |
Well, dont forget Nintendo is the only one that makes a profit off their systems. Sony and Microsoft lose money every time they sell theirs. Nintendo has been around for a long time and know what they are doing. If it wasnt for them you wouldn't have the systems and controllers you use today. They're only trying to improve the gaming market by bring something new to the table (touchscreen, interactive remote). Probably in 5 years these devices will be the standard. |
sam... no offense but: |
Maybe you should hold you judgement until you...ooooh..I dont know... have actually used the new controller. |
You sound like Taco-Man. |
have u seen the video? imagine if your girl friend saw u swinging it like that. i mean really. but hey... i thought you hated the controller. ur blog post allows me to make that assumption. |
Well, I think you should hold judgment until the system has been released and you’ve used it. Otherwise, you sound closed minded and scared of change. I’m excited something new and different is coming to the gaming world. Should gaming companies release the same things over and over just because it’s normal? How will there be advancements if no one takes chances and does things differently? Were you against Nintendo when they introduced the analog thumbstick and 3-D Mario game on the N64? |
of course not. 3d is good. motion sensor games are for arcades. the analog stick wasnt perfected due to its blister-inducing placement until the release of the playstation |
You seem to enjoy missing the point. Nintendo pioneered all these advancements and they became the standard. Hence the new wacky controller. But I suppose we will all see once the system is released. |
Well, I think it looks very interesting. I won't buy it of course (though I have a friend who will :P)... I'm reserving my money for the GP2X: |
gh8y. its not gonna sell. with a shit controller like that, id rather have the NES controller. |
Meh,Nintendo does this once in a while. This wont be the main Controller I persume more of a side controller probaly. |
that is the most trickiest controller I have ever seen in my life even more worst than playstation 2. How could u play shadow the hedgehog on that controller? |
Is this a joke? Cuz it's not funny. |
OK, Sam T is right (I know never pictured a republican saying that right?) the thing isn't even out yet and y'all have judged it based on a commercial and some screenshots. Also the attached thumbstick that comes with it isn't the only attachment you can get. This ability to attach different things to the controller. For example: the controllers of the past like NES, N64, and GCN or the donkey konga bongo things or maybe some kinda gun for FPS. The fact of the matter is we don't know cuz we're not Nintendo so the possibilities are endless. Me, I'm buyin' the Rev when it comes out. As far as I'm concerned the only reason people like the Xbox is cuz of Halo (which has no real plot and is just one guy in a suit shooting people) and Sony's systems just all around suck (I mean the PS2 was made to beat the N64 that should tell you something right there). |
