Ah, come on, SamT, this is what drives the US economy. By not wasting money on educating your citizens you save tons of money, and then you hire all of the educated people who immigrate to the US from other countries. This way, you get other countries to pay for your education (those silly socialist societies! How we love to screw them over...).
Your own citizens then become dumb, but that's ok since mindless sheep are always usefull because they're easily influenced and don't really learn from their mistakes. Sure, it's not a very sustainable economic model (the immigrants will eventually stop coming), but then by the time it stops working and America becomes an uneducated toilet with few high-skill jobs, the current leaders who're getting rich off of their policies will be dead. So it all works out in the end.

What the fuck, Esn? I sure hope that was a joke, because if we have no people to EDUCATE OR GODDAMN CHILDREN, we'll have no future.
You'll have a good future for a while, due to all of the savings that are caused by cutting education, but eventually there'll be hell to pay. As I said, though, the leaders who're in power right now don't really care because this won't affect them. Unless the public catches on of course, but what's the chance of that happening?
