Now there's something to cheer about. Hopefully now Bush will realize that the whole putting-an-unqualified-person-in-a-high-position-
because-they're-his-friend thing is not going to work twice. But probably not. |
I dont know... he will probably pick a radical wacko next; someone that'll put John Ashcroft to shame. |
He would, if that was possible. Besides, Bush's current strategy is not to find the most outspoken radical among judges, its to get his buddies in high places for no reason other than that they're his buddies. |
>Bush will realize that the whole >putting-an-unqualified-person-in-a->high-position- because-they're-his->friend thing is not going to work >twice. But probably not. |

All I have to say on this matter is "BUSH , YOU GOD DAMN IDIOT! WHY PUT SOMEONE WHO'S UNQUALIFIED IN A HIGH SPOT!?!?!?". But then again. THats Dubya for ya. |
I really hope George Bush learns that you need to be qualified to be in a high powered position, although, he probably never will scince he ran for president. |
Hold it right there BUSH! |
"Yugi' Hoe". Best. Name. Ever. |
It isn't Congress' decision to pass an amendment, and I'd hope that in light of all of the scandals facing the Bush Administration they'd have the sense not to propose such an amendment. And with Bush's approval down the toilet, I don't think even Rove, Fox News, and Rush Limbaugh could get 38 states to ratify it. But I wouldn't put it past them completely, for human stupidity seems to be constantly outdoing itself these last five or so years. |
They would never do this because Bill Clinton would run again. |
@Agharo: I can't help it if I'm politically incompetant :/ |
I like Bill...seriously.. Where's Lewinsky? Ah here http://www.lewinsky.ch/ruth/index.html |
This only once again proves why Bush clearly demonstrates a failure of compentancy in being president. |
It amazes you when you figure out that 51% of America's population (probably an incorrect figure, but I'm pretty sure that's the percentile of those that voted for Bush) are just insane. |
Larry my friend, may I ask where you from? Are you hiding behind the American flag |
Me? I'm from New York City - specifically Manhattan. That, of course, is in America. |
Yeah I had my tip on US at first. |
21 yr. white male, yes. |
You guys need to rent the movie: |
I don't know, is it even worth downloading or renting the movie. I have enough of Bush but I'll have a look at it, maybe.. |
Rush Limbaugh saw that movie. |
And know he has picked a solid conservative. If Bush knows anything, which he probably doesn't, he knows that this is a perfect pick for Congress to vote on. |
The guy has a strange case history though. He wrote a dissenting opinion in United States vs Rybar, and so he basically defended the owning of sub-machine guns by private citizens. He also upheld that a NJ law banning partial-birth abortions was unconstitutional. If that is unconstitutional, why isn't banning abortion entirely? |
What most startles me is that someone who bush wanted didn't get in. |
Bush isn't in charge of the country. He's Chaney's puppet. And he can't get everything he wants. In this country, we have something called a Constitution that limits his power. That way, he can't set up a theocracy, make his own laws, or fight illegal wars for oil (oh, wait, he did that). But don't worry, I'm sure that the White House is working hard on getting around that. |
Meh. |
So I guess the majority of America is on the Republican's slander/hit list. Approval ratings are in the toilet, and his policies questioned at every term. It's gotten so bad, you get sites with large sections filled with flash cartoons dedicated to making fun of him. |
Another terrorist attack will shoot his approval ratings right up! |
Yeah, so all he has to do to boost his approval ratings is to make up more phony information and let a terrorist attack slide by his agencies. It'll kill a few hundred Americans, but it's a sacrifice he's willing to make to further the advance of the Religious Right. You get enough of these attacks and he'll get the justification he needs to launch the first Crusade in about one thousand years, give or take a couple centuries. And the Americans, having already proving themselves to be hopeless saps (most of them anyway), will go along with it. It's really sad, but we have already proven that we will go to war after a terrorist attack, so a crusade isn't much of a stretch. We're letting them accomplish their mission, even if they don't attack, and by providing that constant fear the Bush Administration has its excuse to do whatever the hell they want. |
