Doesn't he realize that by making those comments he destroyed the last argument the ID people have? I mean, he just said that they "rejected god", so he implies that ID is a religion, Judeo-Christianity specifically. Now they can't even say that it isn't based on religion, because if it got through Robertson's thick skull that it isn't a science, who will believe them?

In 1986, while working on the Texas gubernatorial race, Rove discovered a bug in his office, and instead of calling the police, he called a press conference.
