Not bad. I loved the "Monty Python" reference in the reenactment of the Hurricane Katrina (if you listen closely, you can hear one of the guys say "This is getting silly")
Man! A lot of events I almost forgot about...who's Terri Schiavo again?

I loved the "HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR!" at the end. For some odd reason, that was one of the funniest things in the flash for me.
Oh, the double-hurricane thing was pretty funny too. You missed a golden opportunity there to note that National Geographic had an article just a MONTH before Katrina about what they thought would happen pretty soon. Well, it was basically exactly as they predicted. Apparently, environmentalists knew for quite some time that this was going to happen because the HUGE amount of coastal erosion in Louisiana over the last few decades meant that the impact of hurricanes would be much more damaging than it had been say 25 years ago.
Pretty scary, actually. Plus, there's that new study saying that moving back into New Orleans is pointless because it's sinking even further and will be unlivable in a hundred years (even further below sea level than it is now).

Daniel maybe you should take into account that this 15 year old kid has been exposed to church and a highly christian upbringing, yet all on my own I have found twists and flaws in Christianity. And you know who showed me these flaws? The philosophers of long long ago. The priests gave me there message. I've read the bible, I went to church for 11 years, I'm not pulling this stuff out of my ass because I don't understand Christianity. I understand Christianity quite well, actually
"I've found that the younger a person is, the more likely they are to value their own opinion over the opinion of history."
I value the opinion of history 1,000 times greater than my own, the philosophers and inventors of the past after all have created all the ground I stand on in life. I don't agree with your statement however, as most friends/peers my own age will not form their own opinions and will not connect the dots of their knowledge in which their schooling has forced into their brains after only being on earth without training for the future for around five years.
I also value what history's mistakes have taught, for example with Hitler using the Christian religion as the justification for his murderous ways and a lure for the masses to follow his leadership as he was "Doing the lords will"
Much like Bush is doing today.
I noticed that you didn't address any of my findings or try and disprove them. Tongue tied?

Oh and by the way Sam the 2005 in Review toon was great, the little animations during the picture slides added a lot to it but took away some seriousness. The only thing I didn't like was the ending, you usually throw a good crack in there to go out with a bang. That's the most I can critisize you of, I'm sorry, but your cartoons are very good.

I`m sorry, but this was a bit lame. I mean these little "animations" and otha` stuff, added like some "invisible coments" were making this whole thing a bit un-watchable. The humour was good, of course, and these comments were good as well, but if you ask me, you should better let taco-man comment all your stuff, like you let him to do this in the other cartoons you`ve made
Anyway i still like your other cartoons, because of your style, and the "magic taco-man coments"

I'm not sure that the thing about "nothing happened" with bird flu is really accurate. The human and bird deaths because of it keep increasing, and it's spreading further and further... there's widespread panic in Turkey right now, which isn't really being reported in Western news. Why? It's much like Mad Cow was for England - it's completely destroying one of their major industries. The fact that it could mutate and become more dangerous to humans makes it even more of a threat - even though nothing's happened yet, it doesn't mean that there isn't a pretty good chance of it happening.

Esn, that was funny. You started off saying your not sure "nothing happened" and then ended by saying "even though nothing's happened yet". The second time I said "nothing's happened yet", I was reffering to the bird flu mutating into a form that's easily transmittable between humans.
When YOU said "nothing happened" it rather sounded like you meant that it hasn't been a disaster for many countries and that the danger was pretty mcuh fabricated.

ps. Saying, "I understand Christianity because I went to church for 11 years" is the religious equivalent of saying, "I'm not a bigot, some of my best friends are black."
So you think people that have read the bible, been to church and listened intently for more than a decade, really don't know much about Christianity? Well than this one god damn complex understanding now isn't it!
"Zatheist,
You didn't state any findings. You stated sweeping generalizations--much as you are also doing in your most recent post.
take care,"
"...the response a Christian would give to somehow explain this [God made me an atheist, God made me to go to hell] would be "You've got free will, it was your choice to be an atheist and not to believe in God, so it was your choice to go to hell" But wait, if God is real as you say, God presented me with all this proof of his nonexistance, God created my exact essense to pull all of my expirience in life and evidence of his non-existance together to come to the conclusion inside my head: God does not exist. Sure I have free will, but he'd be the one who makes up the world around me and inside me, manipulating it in anyway he wants, so technically giving me free will isn't really doing anything as long as he controls everything around me. God creates some souls only to torture, accoding to the Christians."
This is a finding and a realisation on my part. This is not a sweeping "generalisation" To generalize is to render unspecific. How much more specific can I get to explain my thoughts? Should I include a reference in this from the bible where it says God gave us free will?
Anyway now that I have that cleared up I'd like to say this to you Daniel. Notice how you actually did not address any of my questions toward Christianity and instead got me distracted by your own questions in which I have answered clearly? This is a pattern I have seen with any tough questioning on someone who actually doesn't have the answers. They either ignore it because "i dont know what i'm talking about" or they ask me questions.
No one can explain any of my "sweeping generalisations" and THAT'S good enough for me to not be Christian.
The Zatheist |

And you know what else Daniel? The difference between me and you is that I will believe what is reasonable. I will believe what comes from within. You will believe what people told you. You will believe in Christianity no matter what now, because the priests got to you first.
Go ahead and try not believening it, it wont happen, thus proving my theory. The priests told you to believe in this before any one else told you to believe in something (of course your parents could do this as well) they said (but were much less obvious about giving it away) "Don't listen to what anyone else says, they're making stuff up and they're not enlightened. They may have what seems like reasonable proof against god, but don't listen or give any thought to anything they say just repeat this to yourself: God works in mysterious ways. God works in mysterious ways."
God works in mysterious ways will explain any crazy ass thing god might allow, like the killing six billion jews, and its the catch that will keep everyone convinced that he is still out there, sitting around in his office in heaven doing whatever he does all day. It is the ultimate catch. You can't get out of it now, you truley believe if you even try you'll end up burning for infinity! Hahahha! Sucks for you!
If they hadn't gotten to you first, if you would have lived 50 years of your life without hearing about Christianity, I guarntee if these psychos tried to tell you you're going to burn in an imaginary lair unless you follow their set of rules you'd just laugh.
And that's what everyone should do.
Anyway respond to my first post first, this was just an after thought.

what i meant with my recent post is - Sam T`s cartoons are perfect, i have never laughed my ass off so hard during the watching of his cartoons, but this one was a bit weird o_0. Not even the weirdness of bunny bunny, leading the "2005 review", which should definetly be led by taco-man as it used to be, because this is such an important cartoon, COME ON this is a Year review, it`s only once a year, and it should definetly be led by taco-man, cuz he`s your main star, Sam - T, although i love your george bush cartoons better. Anyway - you should not change your style, you are perfect like this, and there is no acctualllll need on preferences. Of course, there is SMTHN you could change, cuz you can`t go on like this forever, but you should never change the main part of your style.
I am not angry with you, Samuel, i just say what was wrong with this cartoon, and if you think i am a buthead o_0, so be it - i am, but someday, perhaps, you`ll notice that i am not

Zatheist,
Saying, "God doesn't exist because I believe he doesn't exist" is not a "finding". Obviously, the christians will just say, "Well God has given me evidence that He DOES exist and you're just ignoring the evidence."
Further, just because you read something and listen to lectures doesn't mean you UNDERSTAND it. Think about it, man. There are people who graduate Highschool who can't even READ! Good attendance is not a sign of wisdom or understanding. You're 15 yr.'s old, right? You attended church for 11 years (from the age of 4). Obviously, from the ages of 4-13 you got a watered down version of the scriptures anyway 'cause you were just a little kid. That means, at the most, you've had 2 years of serious adult biblical study if any at all.
It's hardly logical to tell me that I believe what I believe because "the priests got to me first" when you've been going to church since you were 4 yr.'s old! Give me a break.
And also, you have a very feeble understanding of what "free will" is. Yes, God has power to control circumstance -- but God also has power NOT to control circumstance. I believe God wants to INTERACT with His creation; not hold it in an iron death grip of ultimate control. What do you think we are? Little robots who are summations/victims of our circumstances? Do you believe our destinies were written in the molecular blood splatter of the first universal explosion? Modern physics teaches us that things are nowhere near as predictable as we'd like. Sure, if you want to live in a Newtonian ideology; what you're saying makes sense. But, come one, this is the 21st century, we've been through Einstein and we're just now beginning to understand quantum dynamics. The universe is once again as unpredictable as ever....

lets tolk about palestina
No, let's talk about Palestrina.
Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina was born c.1525 and died 2 February 1594. Most of his life was spent in Rome. During the 1560s and 1570s Palestrina's fame and influence rapidly increased through the wide diffusion of his published musical works. So great was his reputation that in 1577 he was asked to rewrite the church's main plainchant books, following the Cuoncil of Trent's guidelines. His most famous mass, Pope Marcellus Mass, may have been composed to satisty the council's requirements for musical cogency and textual intelligibility. There is a persistent legend that it was this Mass that stopped the Council of Trent from banning polyphony in Western music.
Palestrina ranks with Lassus and Byrd as one of the greatest Renaissance masters. A prolific composer of masses, motets and other sacred works, as well as madrigals, he was (unlike Lassus) basically conservative. In his sacred music he assimilated and refined his predecessors' polyphonic techniques to produce a 'seamless' texture, with all voices perfectly balanced. The nobility and restraint of his most expressive works established the almost legendary reverence that has long surrounded his name and helped set him up as the classic model of Renaissance polyphony.

Acctually its a great idea for one of your futher cartoons, why not use the political problems in Europe as well, to make your cartoons more popular? what`s your opinion?

Or what about Russia and their "gas-politics"?
How do you know that it's Russia? There's pretty strong evidence pointing at Ukraine (whose new Western-friendly government, by the way, is now in complete ruins and facing many corruption scandals).

I am not only talking about the Ukraine but also about Georgia.
Isn't it funny, the only countries that have trouble with Russian gas supply are the countries that changed from pro-Russia to pro-West.
And about gas, we(the Netherlands) have slochteren, a huge gasbell.
France has its nuclear power(they always have to be different).
Norway has allot of gas.
And so on.
And about the Ukraine goverment being in ruins.
Well its a fact that democracies suffer more under bureaucratie and things like that than dictatorship.
And this are minor incidents.
These problems are not proofing anything.

The 2nd link was dated two days before the 1st one, by the way.
About the mess in Ukraine: Besides having to face the media about the wild overspending of his son, the government became so corrupt that Yuschenko actually fired the entire government last September. A few days ago the parliament dismissed the Prime Minister while Yuschenko was on vacation. Not that you hear about any of that on this side of the pond.
As for examples of media misreporting or exaggeration:
Yuschenko was likely not poisoned. http://www.antiwar.com/justin/?a...?
articleid=4164
That article is from 2004. A little suspicious, no? To this day Yuschenko has refused to give blood samples for testing to the Ukraine government investigation into his poisoning. This is not something that the Western media has reported, or has any interest in reporting - it doesn't go with their agenda. "All stories must be black and white and very simple, and we must NEVER admit that we were wrong if we can help it..."
Also, although there were widespread images of orange supporters of Yuschenko camped in the capital during the last Ukrainian election, the Western media almost never showed or mentioned that there were AS MANY supporters camped in the capital for the incumbent president, just across the street. That little inconvenient fact didn't "fit" with the spin that they wanted to put on the story. The final vote tallies were pretty close, too - only separated by 5% or so.

XTIANS RIOTED IN MAPPLETHORPE CINCINATI 1980s when some idiots depicted me (Jesus) badly. What triggered the current protest over the recent cartoons in Denmark was that Evangelical Christian newspaper republished it just to offend muslims which is typical of Evangicals, offended somebody insults them but don't mind when they insult another religion. HYPOCRITES I WILL SMITE THEM AND BURN THEM IN HELL. MOWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
