Sam, while I personally have no problem with the layout, I suspect that many first-time visitors will mistake it for a blog and never make it to the cartoons.
Maybe there could be a better indication of the pathway to the animations.

That's fine. I don't mind hearing input from you guys, but just saying "no, it sucks" isnt very productive. I plan to add more to the front page as I feel it could serve as more than just an enter button. I notice a lot of my visitors never get further than this page anyway, so I should at least give them something to look at.
