Well... thats a blast from the past! I also like how some people didn't know what Nintendo was back then. I think by now only a few scattered grandmothers haven't at least heard the name once.
And if you lived as a kid in the eighties, chances are you played Mario at least once in your life. But eh, the secret passages (The warp zone and such) weren't THAT hard to find. Was more of a matter of 'lets jump up there!' And 'lets hit this brick/go down this pipe!'
I don't know if they even had a hotline here in Holland, but I wouldn't have called it anyway... there where friends, and failing that, magazines, if you got stuck.
