The video is not a hoax. It is 10x more realistic than The Matrix II highway scene. Observe shrapnel, skid marks, and probability of death.

The truck clip is a random-chance optical illusion. The second truck is obscured from view by the first. They collided before they were in view of the camera.

1. The second truck is close to, but not touching, the wall, while the first truck is further to the left (note left tires over white line). This blocks the view.

2. You can tell the first truck is hitting into something that isn't the wall as soon as it is on camera, since it is bouncing all over the place but far from the wall (again, tires on white line, ample space between side of truck and wall).

I wish this were a hoax - many of these people probably died or were disabled.

I know several people from Russia and former Soviet states. They told me previously that the driving situation there really was this bad, with excessive fatalities commonplace.
