You should have eliminated Saddam during the first gulf war. Now the USA (the country responsible for Saddam becoming the leader or Iraq) is paying the bill. Same in Afghanistan. When are you going to pay for the other nations you fucked up in Africa, South America and Asia?
I'm not surprised in the slightest about that. American politics, and news, and wars, generally, if not all, suck. I also agree with what the guy below me ('me') said. Like a wise person once said, "With great power, comes great irresponsibility!"
Easy there Mr.me... I used to think the same about Saddam, but now I see that if they HAD done so, they may have simply been in this mess they are in now earlier.
Well... maybe not THAT big a mess, since its hard to screw up as badly as Dubya.
But I think the Iraq war did show that removing a dictator in an inherently unstable country. (Iraq was a mix of a ruling Sunni minority, a downtrodden Shi'a majority, and Kurds in the north.) can be as bad as having said dictator around.
The best thing the US could do though is to abolish the CIA and replace it with a state owned intellegence agency. Its the CIA that installed all these dictators left and right in order to protect US big bussiness' interests.

Every dictator should be removed and should never be supported. Saddam was your mistake. Those neo-cons don't exsist, just a stupid name for stupid people who only think to make more money and grow power. Stop supporting those dictators in Africa, South America and Asia. I know that your country has programms to install democracy in certain countries. But she also supports the same countries.
When the Iraq war started I supported the idea that he should be removed. He was a murderer who opressed his people. He killed innocent children. Now you should remove that ass-hole in Iran, not with your tanks, just support the right groups and start a civel war... But no, it will stop the oil running to your country...
Good thing it's 'mission accomplished'. Wouldn't want a nasty civil war on our hands would we?
