I like it alot, but the old dubya movies are not on there (or i cant find them)
I like it alot. My only real qualm would be that I miss the "boing" hover sounds. They're funnier (for some reason) than the new laser ones.

It is grrrrrrrrrrreaat. This site is hot, more interactive "main-stream" I'm glad to see you taking advantage of ad space (I was starting to worry that you'd never catch on) and the cartoon pages are nicer than any I've seen on the net (like the ones you watch cartoons on) Everything is slick and awesome- don't change it, just add more of your ideas if you like. It's neater, more playful, and very "next-gen." I'll visit this site more often.
1 suggestion: Sell your old FLAs (limited ones) to users like me. You have a lot of flash artists that visit your site, because many are attracted to it from Newgrounds, and I think $10 for an old cartoon FLA you discontinued with organised files for parts, etc. would be a hot selling item, because I'd buy it. Not to mention the viral advertising you'd get. Ebolaworld would spread like the ebola virus (did that spread fast? I'm not big on virus research)
Hahahhaha just started watching the ebolaworld morph and mutate and whatnot. Awesome. Maybe you really did take my advice and make it more fun and interactive. Maybe that was already your plan. Either the way this site change is successful, especially in light of all recent redecors of my favorite sites, its nice to see one that actually improves.
Awesome. I'm glad you guys all seem to like it. I'm still very open to suggestions as I intend to add more content to the site and change things that aren't working.
I'm going to answer your questions so far in order of in which they were asked:
1. The old Bush cartoons can be found in the archives page (the little folder icon up top next to the Blog button). I'm purposely not promoting this page. It's a little gem for those who explore.
2. The 'boing' sounds were on the 'Weekly Update' buttons. I thought about using those sounds again, but found they become annoying after a while. Especially, when everything you roll-over makes that sound.
3. The icon in between the Store and Email is the Donation page. This page was extremely successful a few years ago when I had it online, so I thought I would bring it back for those of you who would like to help support Ebolaworld. I don’t know why I ever removed it. Sadly, I haven’t created the donate page, so the button doesn’t work yet. I’m planning to add a few more buttons up top, such as a Tour button.
4. The Smurks are coming to the cancelled page one way or another. To avoid any problems, some changes will be made to the original cartoons. For example, the characters may need to be another color, but at least you'll be able to see the cartoons again! Let me know what your thoughts are.
5. The idea was to make an attractive, easy to use website that people would want to visit often. I plan to keep the site fresh with new stuff (not just cartoons) every few months. I also plan to introduce new series, specials, and cancelled shows. I'm about to start search for a programmer that can help make Ebolaworld even more accessible. 6. I've been meaning to incorporate ads for a while, but I didn’t want to make the site look ugly. I think the new setup is fair: You watch a cartoon, you see some ads. As of now, the only text on the pages with ads is the word “Ebolaworld”, so I need to work on adding more content; otherwise you’re only going to see adds about “ebola” and anything with “world” in it. Hahah.
7. I've never thought about selling my FLA, but it’s an interesting idea that I’ll think about. However, I'm really not so sure you’d learn much. My really old animations are a mess as I was learning myself. I would probably be better off selling instructional FLA videos.

I s'pose it wouldn't hurt to put adds on that vast empty plain of an indigo boarder, provited they don't throttle the brains of the epiliptic (i.e. don't flash or move in any way). A good bet would be advertising for sites like eBay & Amazon, that way, people will actually click the ads.

This suggestion might be a stretch but it would be nice if WE the users could have a favorites section for ourselves
like for example I always show "bush goes to iraq"to a family or friend and my they end up in tears of laughter but its a bit annoying finding it. With the new layout its easier but it'd be nice.

Awesome! I was about to make a forum post citing the new design, but now that Sam's saying that he wants to keep it secret, i wont. =)
One thing's wrong though: the icons on the top right aren't labeled.
Sam you are just great.. i teach flash here in the middle east and i always tell my students that the cartoons you make is the most well done flash animation i've ever seen and beside that you have really awesome ideas!
i loved the bubble boy thing about bush..you know we seriously hate him here in the middle east and so your work is admired all around jordan, lebanon, eygpt and syria..

The new layout's pretty good but I think you've overlooked a basic principle of web design, more is less, especially animation and sound wise. A few less sound effects would be good, it gets a bit distracting when your mouse moves across the screen and 5 sounds play simultaneously. Otherwise I think you've done a great job overall, especially with the nice simple layout. I love your cartoons, keep up the fabby work.
p.s. I hope you keep this site ad-free and uncommercialised, but I would understand if you couldn't maintain the site.
