I saw some David Lynch films in one of my film classes at SF state. They were all weird. "Blue Velvet", in my opinion, was the worst. (Although, strangely enough, one of the lines said in it was used in "Clerks"; my brother swears that the line originated from "Clerks" to this day.)

"The Straight Story" was the best (ironically, it was a G-rated Disney film). His one main theme from all of them are the absence of characters.=, which is crucial to his storyline. (Best example I can think of is Laura Palmer on the "Twin Peaks" series)

My reccomendation: rent and watch some of the "Twin Peaks" episodes (and maybe "Straight Story" and "Blue Velvet" if you have the chance.)

Wow… I though it was kind of funny actually, that guy’s hair reminds me of Kramer’s form “Seinfeld”.
