Just read this while surfing.Am from Palompon, Leyte.now touring the US.My concerns are: deforestration in my hometown because PESCHEM mining goes on inspite efforts of local government recently to halt the damage.Peschem has been minging and destroyin g our Watershed for more than 2 decades now. Its owner Tomas Tan from Manila more than enriched himself. The other is the high rate of electricity tho our power is sourced from Tongonan geothermal. Why so?The culprit:the inefficient ans self serving electric cooperatives all over our country.Can you help us all beginning with our politicians. Alberta M. Tacam
