Gravatar I especially like the beginning (before we realize it's fiction) and the ending here. And your point about Turing tests is well taken: nowadays people must figuratively pass a test to be mistaken for computers, rather than vice versa.

Gravatar I thought this was nonfiction at first, too! Very funny, Ecks.

Gravatar This is rich, Ecks. I am extremely impressed with how much you packed into this one, and without any bulges from being forced. I'm with Richard and J.D., you had me fooled, which excites me even more how you blurred the line between fiction and reality (if that line exists in any definable sense anymore). Richard said it best about the Turing test having become reversible. I'm going to be mulling over this one for a while. And the progression from murmurs to hullaballoo was a nice touch. Damn good work.

Gravatar And thanks for the kindly link, bloke! Helluva chap you are.
