Gravatar Glad you're back, Ecks. Sorry about your suitcase's recently found independence, unless, of course, you had all your early writings in it, which was reported by one Ernest Hemingway to be an emancipating and liberating situation for the writer as well. If, however, you had your Norelco with a brand new pack of shaver heads in there (running probably close to the price of a new shaver), you have my deepest sympathies.

Hope your stay was more relaxing than the travel.

Gravatar The stay was great - managed to write 25,000 words for my latest book. The suitcase had my notebook in it though, the ideas in which are not easily replaceable; but the people at Heathrow seemed to think that it would just head over to England on its own without incident. I have my fingers crossed.

Gravatar Congrats on the foreign writing pace! That's a pretty cool opportunity. We'll be looking forward to reading the novel when it comes out.

Also, I've always loved that rain/Spain/plain phrase, just for the sound of it. Nice twist there.
