The clip aired on NBC news and Moore used it in the film as part of "fair use." This suit will go nowhere. And if we're going to complain about Mr. Moore taking information out of context, then please include Sean Hannity in this; he's been using an edited Howard Dean soundbite to suggest Bush knew about 9-11 in advance and did nothing to stop it. Hannity plays it and asks whatever Dem or lefty on the show he plays it for to comdemn Howard Dean for such remarks. The Center for American Progress has the unedited clip on their website where Dean clearly dimisses Internet rumors about Bush knowing as hearsay.

Is "Fox is Bad!" your reponse to everything?
Moore's crockumentaries are nothing but a string of carefully edited clips designed to lead the view in ways the clips individually would not take them.
Even Parker & Stone can't stand him after he screwed them over in one of his films.

Pretty much....
Here's where I get to say, Moore is an entertainer and what he does is no different that what Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh do on a regular basis...take things out of context.
Back to my original point; the clip aired on NBC News and Moore used it under "fair use" guidelines. The suit has no merit.

The difference is extremely important.
Moore passes himself off as a maker of "documentaries", which is most certainly is not. He has to twist peoples words, including cutting multiple speeches into what is presented as a single speech and taking quotes out of context in order to make his political "arguments." Moore is a prime example of the depths the hard left has sunk to.
If Moore played the entire clip, in context, then the case would be without merit. Instead, he took a small portion, intentionally changing intent of the person being filmed. What is the matter with the truth? Why is Moore so afraid of the the simple truth?

Ahh, but now we're getting into the meaning of what the soldier said (documented on tape) versus wht he meant.
All you have is thet Moore does a bang up job of editing film.
Bush did sit there those 7 minutes. There are plenty of objection moments in F-9/11 when Bush would have loved Moore to edit comments.

Yes he did. If he didn't, then Moore would have claimed he paniced.
Even Moore himself won't call it a documentary when pressed on the details of that film. He down graded it to a "op-ed" and then refused to answer more questions.
The last honest movie Moore made was Canadian Bacon.
