Oh, I might be tempted to go to my convocation if, say, Mark Steyn had a chance to rouse the rabble. Or Christopher Hitchens — the graduate chair of the geography dept. actually walked out on him in disgust when he spoke at Western in the spring. Preston Manning would be interesting, but he's far too polite, an attribute which doesn't seem to be called for at UWO anymore.

Fantastic work, Eclectic, covering the convocations. Where are the students in this whole mess? It sounds like they're the obligatory intermission entertainment in this whole interventionist love-fest.
