If you ever get into the foreign service, one of the first thing's you'll learn is not to use acronyms all the time.
Now that I mention it, when I was a former foreign service officer (that's FSO to you), I found nothing so tiresome as the eager beavers who took the exam countless times before they finally got in.
My advice: take it once and see. If you don't make the cut, find another career. I suspect your talents lie somewhere in the marketing arena...
