I read that both Boxer and Jones were here on the same day. Stump events come and go but immigration will sit around in the room until somebody decides that someone is going to get offended.

One thing politicians might do is look at the people who are hiring illegal immigrants. Hmmmmm. Yeah, I seem to remember Reagan signing a law that would fine employers for doing so. So much for enforcement. Now nobody wants to deal with it.

You are right. If employers were actually fined (in other words the law enforced) then the problem would be greatly reduced.
