I couldn't get my post finished in time for this week's Carnival. I'm afraid I'm hoping for more immediate feedback than waiting until next week's. (How's that for a teacher?)

I want to thank Edwonk's for linking with me, as I know that I tend more to political and current events than education, though I hope to correct this shortly, make that mitigate.

Anyhow, I would appreciate anything that anyone could suggest to help me and some collegues with a couple of problems.
