Because I have thought considerably about values and how to teach them, I added a comment to one of the blogs you pointed to suggesting that it might be worthwhile to look at what I had written. When I returned to the site this morning, the link and the comment had vanished. Of course it might have been a computer glitch... or not.

It seems to me that part of education consists of reading others for good ideas, and if you disagree, learning to concisely and accurately explain why. We can't always protect our children so we have to inoculate them to defend themselves. . . . Or we could just erase comments.

Erasing comments is NOT what education is about.
