It took me about a minute to decide it was dumb. As soon as the teacher hit the golf ball into the other teacher's room.
Later, I groaned out loud at the scene with two teachers drinking beer at school.
My prediction: DOA

I was flipping around and only saw a couple minutes. The most prominent thing on the show was the laugh track. Not a good sign.

It was a harmless show that is destined to be off the airwaves in a matter of weeks.

Reminded me a lot of "Scrubs".
It'll probably be a hit!

But what gets me about it is that there is so much about teachers that could be hilarious...

I honestly doubt anyone who writes for that show has ever spoken to a real teacher.
It doesn't hold a candle to Scrubs, though. Not even close! Scrubs is fun in a surrealistic way. This show is just stupid in an unrealistic way.

Just a minor side note:
The Kansas City Star review is just a reprint of the Orlando Sentinal review.

I'm still not sure on this show. As soon as I'm ready to turn it off, something funny keeps me on it. My guess is that it'll go about 3-4 more eps.

I saw it and decided it was a polished piece of dog squeeze. I haven't laughed so little at a "comedy" in so long.

I thought, with the exception of the alcohol consumption on school grounds, everything else was dead on! From the psuedo-apathy masking the desire that every real teacher has to be that determining factor in a student's success to the desire to hit on every attractive teacher in the building, this show captured the paradoxical persona of the teacher well. By the way, I've never golfed in school before, but I have rolled a bowling ball from one end of the building to the other...
