Oh wait, you mean the people who gave birth to/adopted the child should be held responsible for them? You mean the people who are in charge of them 18 hours a day, during the school year, who buy them food, provide housing and clothing, who set the rules and values for the "little people" living in their house, have some influence on how they do in school? What a novel idea!
That said, I hate taggers! We have a kid in our town who writes "Pork" on everything in town.

Yeah! Great post! It drives me nuts that the parents of these brats get off the hook so darn often.

On Fox and Friends this morning they were talking about a mother and son tagging team. What kind of mother would go vandalize property with her son, as if it were some sort of recreation?

I've had to replace my mailbox three times in five years thanks to kiddie vandals. And I've learned not to leave sprinklers out on my lawn over night, nor to leave tools or anything that is of value and/or liftable in my yard.
In many cases the parents are no better than their kids, that's why the kids do it. If the kid gets caught and the cops drag him home to his parent, the cop gets cussed out - or worse.
It pisses me off because I don't have kids, I pay taxes to send the punks to school (if they go - if they are not truants or dropouts). I will be footing the bill for their incarceration if they are sent to prison, and I may wind up paying for some kind of taxpayer funded rehab program for their meth or coke or whatever habit. And I pay for repairs to the steps of public buildings when they make them crumble by skateboarding all over them...
And I have to spend STILL more money when the punks destroy my mailbox!
I seriously think there should be a law requiring people to go through reversible sterilization that will be reversed ONLY when they prove themselves responsible enough to raise a responsible citizen.
