Summer vacation seems to be doing its job, as the number of posts I've opened to read is probably at an all time high. Apparently our ability to write ever more interesting posts increases when we don't have those pesky kids around!

I've also noticed, though, that so many blogs ask to place cookies. I've never had to hit the "deny" button so many times! If my own blog requires it, I don't know where that's coming from.

Fox does not own WSJ; it has merely made an offer to purchase it. It is far from clear that the family that controls the WSJ will approve the sale.
