With all the problems that Californians face, and there are MANY, it's truly insulting to even discuss such a pointless and questionable ordinance. What about homeless people? What about crime? What about rampant drug abuse?
But then again, maybe the root of these problems was the fireplace...

It's already here in Sacramento. Due to air quality not meeting federal standards, starting December 1st we'll have to call or log on to a web site to see if the air quality is good enough to burn wood in our fireplaces.
I guess if it's good enough, we can burn and make it yucky?

Maybe in order to help clean-up the air, our notoriously "green" Senators Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein will give up flying around the country via private jet.
