You're right the larger family comment. I think about the kids who give us trouble at our school and there are often several siblings who have done or will do more hell raising.
Scary - birth control is a wonderful thing!
Children are a blessing. Not all large families are out of control train wrecks. Some of us are quite happy to raise and nurture our kids.

Powerwashing your kid is inexcusable. So are your comments about larger families.
According to the video, the woman has a toddler and is five months' pregnant with another child. That would make it a SMALL family... by most standards, anyway!!
Certainly she ought not have custody of any more children if this is indicative behaviour. We agree on that much.

But how many times in our personal lives have we known abusive/neglectful "mothers" who have had multiple children? (often with multiple men, none of which are usually present in the household)
I hear ya. I was actually coming over to apologize for my rash remarks. I'm a bit sensitive after hearing if I wonder "what causes that" from everybody including family, concerning my six children. I hate to think that my older children's public educators are thinking the same thing about me!
One thing I found interesting in the video is the standard for abuse is supposed to be what we'd consider inappropriate to do to an adult. Now, I've just caught one of my sons who did NOT want a diaper change, pulled his pants off and wiped his bottom. Sometimes there's just no appropriate parallel, you know??
Another asinine comparison I've heard in the past is that we're to treat our children as guests in our homes. Um... guests that need training and stay for 18 years, maybe...
