Us Maryland fans have had to deal with epic collapses before and now the latest chapter has been written. I've never seen a team collectively play so scared in the final minutes as Maryland did last night. No team worthy of an NCAA bid would blow a 20-point lead at home with 11 minutes to play. Greivis Vasquez is an undisciplined, turnover-machine who needs to buy into the team concept and not treat every game like a personal audition for the NBA. If Maryland ends up in the NIT, which appears likely, I believe that Gary Williams could be on the hot seat next season. The program has clearly regressed since 2002.
