Amen! I try to avoid it by not saying anything at all, but sometimes I have to dish! Now I just do it to Steven and try to keep my mouth shut elsewhere! It is so hard, but worth it.

You really thought the gossip would end? I doubt it ends even in death. Lost souls sitting in a graveyard after hours gossiping about the living.

Kilax, I think that's a good idea. Vent to someone you trust but keep it outta the workplace.
Kevin, I guess I was stupid enough to belive people might actually grow up after college. Silly me

Rock on sister! I want everyone to get along and be friends and was under the impression that after 30 people would "grow up". If I hear someone gossiping and I know the person in question, I try to say something positive and then walk away. Gossip is ugly and I'm glad you made a post about it! BTW, I like fountain vs. can! Ciao!

hmmm i guess i must be lucky at work then.. either that or just naive. Or maybe both. i normally don't pay attention to gossip or don't even know it's going on (naive). But when i read your blog title, it made me think of how adults truly are just big kids!
