I have been trying to explain this to my fiance for ages - how much work it takes for us to look nice! All he has to do is shower and put gel in his hair... I have to shower, dry, straighten, do the makeup bit... etc. I was recently thinking about this because I wore heels all day on Saturday. Ouch. I waking up on a cold winter morning and spending the day wearing sweats and two pairs of socks (if I am not leaving the house). 
I love winter b/c of the bulky sweaters too Um, do you think that woman was a hooker?
Kilax, heels on a Saturday? Yuck! I can barely wear them during the week. But, I do like the sound of sweatpants and two pairs of socks.
Jacynth, you know what? In hindsight, that chick was definitely a hooker. I'm an idiot!
I've decided to wear only warm boots all winter -- screw cute shoes!! My feet will thank me...
eh, make-up. I go through phases with it. Where I'll wear it daily and put on a lot of eye makeup and then I won't wear it at all or minimally (just blush). I agree being warm is my first priority when it comes to winter. Sometimes I even leave my coat on at work! I'd rather be warm than look cute. And dressing stylishly kind of wears me out anyway... yep, it is hard work.
