Almost always a soft drink when I get fast food breakfast (which I'm trying to make "not very often" anymore; having a Diet Coke with a Sausage McGriddles is like slapping one of those little dime-sized Band-Aids on a sucking chest wound). Staying in and making a nice breakfast at home (like on the weekend or something), coffee and skim milk. Grabbing something quick and going, flip a coin--soft drink or coffee.

Bo, I couldn't agree more. A Diet Coke isn't going to help with a heart attack on a plate. But, it can be a great way to cut calories as part of an overall healthy meal.

I am not, but a lot of my family is! So which is worse, coffee or diet soda? Both kill my stomach in more than 8 oz. !

Too each his own, I suppose. Coffee gives me a tummy ache so I do my best to avoid unless I need a serious pick-me-up.

Katie and I ran out of all soda at home recently. We haven't bought anymore since then, diet or regular, and now all our clothes are fitting better. Hmmm...
