meh - it's nothing compared to western media on the middle eastern conflict

saw a paper in London with a piece on the rubber bullet incident - written in a way which strongly suggested live ammo - and omitted any mention of the ongoing court martial

I think that Anderson Cooper made a mistake and Cooper is too senile to admit it. The mistake was that he believed that John McCain had made a meaningful mistake.

If the magnification of a mistake still leaves the audience with doubts as to whether a mistake did or did not occur, then we must question the ability of MSM to do propaganda in a meaningful way.

I was listening to the radio for a few minutes earlier. Seems that Obama is the head of a committee and pushed through a bill to save the economy.
Only he wasn't the head of the committee("my committee" in his words), and he's not even on it. And he didn't even vote for the bill.

Everyday....uh...um...uh...what's interesting is that...uh....he's never said anything honest, or clear from his racist books to present day yet. ever.
Which is good, because it means I can't disagree with him. Hard to disagree with someone who has no stance, or straddles both sides of the fence. Usually all three at once.

Gravatar lets be honest (and fair), McCain made a huge gaffe as it relates to the "surge" and the timing of events in Iraq.
The real problem is that he keeps going on and on about how he knows more than Obama about this issue and foreign policy in general and then makes idiotic mistakes. In this case he compounded the error by trying to say that EVERYTHING was the surge. His explanation was laughable.
He also referred to the Iraq/Afghanistan border last week. If he continues to make idiotic statements like this he DESERVES to be taken to task by the press. He has never been a real hands-on guy, but not knowing that Iran sits between those two countries is inexcusable for someone who claims to be such an expert.

Gravatar As if anything objective could be expected from Joe Klein on the subject of the surge etc.

Snort.

Gravatar Now that I'm a few years away from 60, I really hate the ageism flying around McCain, who is probably fitter than a lot of 50 year olds. Alan Greenspan retired from the Fed in his early 80s, and, so far as I know, did a pretty good job of it until then.
