Off topic, sorry but I wanted to let you know that I did check out the tape of Stewart interviewing the propaganda minister of Palestinians....Stewart looks very uncomfortable...
The comments section is on the link at comedy central is almost all pro arab...no surprise....something tells me Stewart maybe just maybe reads that, I was going to sugest our readers go over there and comment....maybe it will help, can't hurt.

Its typical in the Arab World to use threats as a bluff - to intimidate rivals and impress enemies. This is a game all Arab leaders play and Abbas is no different. No one took his departure seriously. Arab leaders hold on to power until they're overthrown or they die in office. Political power in the Arab World does not change through free elections. The PA and Hamas are no different from the Arab political pattern.

The Obama administration has been clear and specific that it wants Israel to stop all settlement activity. I don't agree, but that is part of their strategy. Now I want to see a clear and specific request made of the PA. Not some vague and general comment, but something specific that the administration will pressure the PA to do.
The attitude of the West for a long time has been to make demands on Israel with no reciprocity.

Trudy, yes he does know how to scream and yell...but did you see the clip of his interview with those two? I wanted to scream at the jewish woman...she was like a brain washed robot.
Stewart is very influential. His bio says he was bullied a a kid for being Jewish, it was like he was ashamed of being a Jew, saying he only had two years of Hebrew school so 'he didn't know'....being pro israel on the left didn't kill the guy on Politically Incorrect but its like he was afraid of something.

Didn't Abbas' term as PA president expire earlier this year? Shouldn't the Obama administration be shunning him (a la Honduras) so that a legitimate successor can be democratically elected?
