Cath... don't worry, Andy is not for everyone, though he did treat Pittsburgh very well. Next year will be the 20th Anniversary of his death, so I'm sure the museum will be doing some Andy-related things.

And Anonymous... you are probably right. The spirit of Andy was looking over us in that respect. Though we were going to whip out our "Fifteen Minutes of Fame" postcards when we got up to the bubble. Just the juxtaposition of Blaine in the Bubble being stared at by five white-topped, black-jacket clad folks would have been a most amazing shot, indeed. But Marco Paparazzo took some other pictures of that with another camera.

And I don't think Blaine is boring; I just think he's a new version of Houdini, though we might all be too jaded to like to see Houdini-like events anymore. I kinda fine Blaine fascinating, though I do know that a lot of people can't stand him. I'm pretty neutral on him, actually.

Looked like a fun day. I was in London in 2003 when Blaine was doing his "Above the Below." As I was there for about six weeks, I popped by a few times. One of my stops was when his box got pelted by yobs throwing food and drink. Well, his art is meant to be reactionary. He just smiled and waved.
