So he didn't coin it. I think L. Neil Smith did, when he used "the Propertarian Party" to refer to an alternate-US Libertarian Party in "The Probability Broach" (the first volume of his North American Confederacy series).


Gravatar "Libertarians", not the real kind, are just embarrassed Republicans that can't own up to the terrible choices they've made - you hit it right on the head.

To me, libertarians are just Idealist Anarchists. Or Anarchistic Idealists. They believe there should be complete and utter lack of any social structure (complete 'personal freedom'), yet hold on to the idealistic (read:impossible) hope that somehow it won't end up sucking.
