The parallel with Lysenkoism is pure gold - & bloody well dead-on. If there's ever a mockumentary about "EXPELLED" this needs to be in it.
As does the little-known fact that in the last year or so evolution HAS been verified as happening in nature, on the Galapagos Islands appropriately enough - so evolution is a "theory" like gravity or relativity: one with solid proof backing it up.
