A Little Night Music
My husband's alarm clock starts at 4:00 AM which I understand WHEN he goes to work!! But Sunday??? Pleeeasse I want to sleep in. Apparently you can only press snooze so many times before it shuts off. So, I feel for you and the alarm clock.
My dad gets up every morning around 4 or 5. It drives my mother crazy.
i'm annoyed too!
i've had my fill this week already (and it's only wednesday!) of people talking to me like i'm a complete idiot.
i've been working here for what, seven years... i know what i'm doing by now, thank you.

I can't figure the AIG deal either--but the govt becomes 75% owner of the company and that makes the remaining stockholders lose a lot (but we'd lost more if they went completely under). At the same time, it seems to me that we need more insurance companies that are not so large--maybe it would have been better to piecemeal the company and sell to other insurance companies.
I know the AIG was aggressive in taking over other companies (including one my father worked for almost his whole life). Now they're down the tubes, they've also ruined a number of other good companies.
AIG - Don't you love the way capitalism works? Sort of reminds you of communism doesn't it? Not that any republican would admit that.
Dreams... they just remind you how much you miss someone sometimes. i still dream of all sorts of people who are no longer part of my world. Sure, sometimes it still hurts - I just miss them - but the memories come flooding back, all fond and happy memories. and for me that's always a positive.
Oh, silly me... I'm only trying to be encouraging...
No time doesn't heal all wounds. After five years I still miss my mother like crazy ... but I have to admit, that I have more happy days now than I did in the first year. It's not easy being without her but truly, the first year and a half were the haardest.
1. You already know how I feel about the bailouts. All I'll say is that if the feds bail me out, I'll loan you whatever you need.
2. I get up at 4:10 AM. I'll try not to wake you.
3. You'll get over it. It took more than a year to stop grieving for my Mother, and I still miss her.
4. I hate those dorks that leave stupid comments on blogs and Facebook. They give REAL loonies like me a bad name.
5. I like Arby's and I like Wendy's. What's not to like?
