Agnes and I like those nights when we can turn off the A/C, throw open the window, and sleep in a cold room while covered with blankets. We usually have our window open on all but the very coldest nights. And the time for comfort food is coming: last night it was miserably chilly and rainy here in northern VA, so I made a big dish of my famous baked macaroni and cheese. All the seasons have their good things, but I'm ready for winter!

I LOVE when the season changes to Fall. It's my favorite time with the crisp apples, snuggle up nights and the crunch underfoot.
